I am looking at news broadcasts to get an idea of the use of text, logos, and the general format, to help me with my final piece of work. I will look at a number of different news programmes, to help inspire my own piece.
Sky News:
And a broadcast from Dale Farm:
I think that the 'Sky News' logo looks a bit out of place in these videos. It's too far across the screen, and is almost invasive. I feel that a logo should be in the corner of the screen, and shouldn't distract the viewer fromt he actual news.

BBC News:
And a broadcast from Dale Farm:
The top two videos, which the live news scrolling across the bottom, are more like how I would like my video to look, as I feel like this technique is effective. Viewers are still able to watch the news at ease, with no invasive logos, and if they are interested in anything else going on, they can divert their eyes to the bottom of the screen. I personally have always found BBC News the easiest to watch.
